The game ended in a 2-2 tie, rather than a 3-2 American victory that would have marked the biggest World Cup comeback ever.

FIFA officials have been tight-lipped about the controversial call.

The ref took Klose from us after just a half hour for next to nothing. Podolski tried his best, but was just plenty unlucky that day.

It rained cards that day (again). I don't get referees this time AT ALL. I read somewhere that statistics don't even support that, but I'm under the impressions that faulty decisions amass all over the board.
