Forgive me.

I would like to know if its ok...long ago i read a poem one of you wrote and it was amazing and i put it in my journal. i came across it a few months ago and made it into one of my fav songs ive written.


Its like one that goes

sittin on the porch in the evening light
sitting on the porch i see two passing lights
well i wonder where that drivers bound
is there something out there ive not found?

a touch of smoke is never what is seems
dust and sunshine can make my eyes look mean
but theres a cat sleeping through this days show
toppin off a woodpile breathin slow
